Teresa of Avila lived today's gospel. She acknowledged Jesus. Disguising as a little boy, Jesus asked this Carmelite virgin, "Who are you?" to which she replied "I am Teresa of Jesus" but to her surprise, after asking the same question she got this reply "I am Jesus of Teresa." The holy woman carried the name of Jesus. She proclaimed the Lord. Let us acknowledge Jesus. He promised He would acknowledge us, too. |
