Trust in God's Providence. This is the common message of the Synoptic gospels even if they differ in terms of provision for mission. Those sent need not worry because God will provide. This message resounds in the history of humanity. Always and doubtless God provides for the needs of men. There is no room for fear and anxiety. The God who cared for the apostles then is the same God who cares for us today. |
