To sin is worse but to cause others to sin is the worst. The word scandal comes from the Greek "skandalon" which means "stumbling block or snare." When others stumble or fall because of us, we become a scandal. The opposite must be our aim. We should inspire others to be good and to do good. What we do and what we say should encourage others. How we live should be an example worthy of emulation. |
