There is a world of difference between "already" and "not yet." While people were looking forward to the coming of God's kingdom as "still yet to come," Jesus made it clear that the kingdom " has already come." Which tells us loud and clear that along with the kingdom is the presence of the King. The Greek "basileia tou Theou" is a reality in our midst. God reigns. He is present. He is the "Emmanuel." |
