There is a crying lady. A crying boy. A crying soldier. And there's a crying God. Jesus wept upon seeing Jerusalem as he foresaw its destruction. It saddened Jesus to see the future collapse of the city. The Lord does not desire the misfortune of men. He does not wish to see them suffer beyond their capacity. It will always pain the Lord that we grieve out of despair and desolation. He will surely cry with us. |
