Pope Francis speaks of a "throw-away-culture." This phenomenon is prevalent. What is not useful is discarded. Human beings are treated just the same. If you are poor, ugly and unlettered you are ignored. Jesus disliked that culture. He valued the last, the least and the lost. The King welcomes everyone in the kingdom-- the two thieves included. The Synodal Church does not discriminate. She accepts one and all. |
