On Dec. 12, my new book will be launched. Page 244 says, "Huwag ka na magpaliwanag. 'Pag gusto ka tanggap agad. 'Pag ayaw ka, mali lahat." This is very true considering today's gospel. Both Jesus and John the Baptist were disliked. Whether eating or not eating, the two were criticized as drunkard/friend of sinner or possessed by a demon. Walang kalagyan. Walang lusot. Dahil inaayawan, mali lahat ng ginagawa. Really we cannot please everybody. Let us learn to accept that and stay calm. |
