The elongated wormlike caterpillar can turn into a beautiful butterfly. Lesson: We can always transform and change. The publicans and the prostitutes (represented by the older son in today's gospel) repented upon the preaching of John the Baptist. They changed and renewed their lives. Even if we are the worst sinners condemned by the world, we still have a chance to be the best persons. Yes, every sinner has a future. |
