An obedient person says YES with a joyful heart. When Mary heard the angelic greetings, after a question that sought clarification, she gave her joyful response which in Greek is "genoito." This word implies joy born of trusting faith. The Blessed Virgin obeyed God's will with her Fiat. It was a total abandonment to whatever God wanted for her. An obedient woman of Nazareth! Worth emulating. |
