One of the many marks of holiness is obedience. The Holy Family bore this mark as narrated by today's gospel. Whatever was told them through the angel [thrice in dreams] they humbly obeyed. Our familes are called to be holy. Obedience will strengthen our holiness. From the purely humane conduct of obeying human laws to the more sacred duty of abiding by the Divine Law, we can live a life of holiness. Obedient and holy families we shall be. |
