In every educational venture, pedagogy plays an important role. Today's gospel presents Jesus, the Great Teacher, with an equally great pedagogical method. He asks a question and makes the learners discover their nothingness. Then he teaches how to unearth the gems of wisdom. The apostles became aware that they caught nothing. They were told to cast the net and try the other side. In prayer, Jesus makes us aware of our inadequacies and he teaches us the way to put things into completion. |
