I have attended several schools but I learned so much from the school of life. I am grateful to my former teachers and to the Teacher par excellence, God. Today's gospel which echoes Is. 54:13 affirms that we are all "taught by God." He teaches us that love is the greatest of all. Through this pandemic crisis He teaches us that faith coupled with good works will save us. At school, we are given lessons, then a battery of tests. At the school of the gospel, we are given tests that will teach us lessons. |
