Diocese of Lucena joins the 14th SOLTARE CUP 2023 Hosted by the Archdiocese of Lipa. Day 1 began with the Eucharistic Celebration held at Immaculate Conception Parish in Bauan, presided over by the Most Rev. Gilbert A. Garcera, D.D., Bishop of the Archdiocese of Lipa.
Continuing, the first half of Day 2 started with the Eucharistic Celebration held at the National Shrine and Parish of St. Padre Pio in Sto. Tomas City, Batangas. This was presided over by the Most Rev. Pablito M. Tagura, SVD, D.D., Bishop of the Apostolic Vicariate of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. The homily was delivered by Rev. Msgr. Ramon D. Uriarte, MA, SThL, Administrator of the Diocese of Gumaca. After the Mid-Morning Prayer and Holy Hour, welcome remarks were given by Rev. Fr. Oscar Andal, Rector, and Parish Priest of NSPSPP, as well as by Hon. Arth Jhun A. Marasigan, Mayor of Sto. Tomas City. Subsequently, all priests gathered for the recollection proper, with Most Rev. Pablito M. Tagura, SVD, D.D., serving as the speaker.
