Seminary formators from the Diocese of Lucena participated in the 7th National Institute of Seminary Formators held in Iloilo City. The event was attended by formators from various seminaries across the country and aimed to provide a platform for sharing best practices and discussing current issues in seminary formation.
The Diocese of Lucena is home to several seminaries, including the St. Alphonsus Regional Seminary, Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Seminary, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Minor Seminary and the Institute of Formation. These institutions play a crucial role in the formation of future priests, and the participation of their formators in events such as the National Institute is an important step in ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to carry out their mission.
The National Institute of Seminary Formators is held every two years, and is organized by the Episcopal Commission on Seminaries of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines. The event features talks and workshops on various topics related to seminary formation, and provides an opportunity for formators to network and learn from one another.
