Is there a perfect person? A big NO. There is none. But why does Jesus desire that we be perfect? The original Greek word "teleios" means "complete and undivided." Perfection consists in having a heart that is undivided, a heart that beats for the good and the bad, for the saints and the sinners as well. If we accept both the lovable and the abominable, both the amiable and the ungenial, we are on the road to perfection. |
