Courage personified. That is how today's gospel presents Jesus. The Lord knew he would suffer and die in Jerusalem but was resolute to go there. Which should inspire us especially during moments of cowardice and hesitation. We tend to shun that which endangers our lives. We refuse to go to a place where destruction awaits us. We learn from the Lord who was dauntless in treading the very path that leads to his death. |
