No one can take the place of Jesus. Nothing can be his substitute. It's a pity Judas did not realize that. He chose thirty pieces of silver in exchange of the Lord. A very cheap deal! Many times we abandon our faith in favor of material gain. We place bodily pleasure over spiritual benefit. To the enticement of the world we say Yes but to God's invitation, a big No. We should never forget: God is first of all and above all. |
