As I grow "older," I prefer to eat than to travel. I will travel only to satisfy my cravings for food. It's nice to discover from today's gospel that the Risen Lord eats with his apostles. He wanted to show them that He was alive and that He was not a ghost. More than that, he wished to strengthen his intimacy with his followers. Meal with Jesus is always available through the Eucharist. Let us partake of this spiritual food often. More satisfying than our material food. |
