What is obvious is believable. Surprisingly, those who encountered the Risen Lord did not believe. Mary Magdalene, the two disciples on the Road to Emmaus and the eleven apostles were all incredulous at the sight of the Risen Christ. This reflects the unbelief of many people. They experienced miracles. Preachers on the Eucharist already hit the head of the nail but people are still short of understanding. When will we ever learn? |
