How can we question the origin of all authority? He is God and all power resides in him. Yes, the Omnipotent God possesses all authority in heaven and on earth. The chief priests, the scribes and the elders got the nerve to question Jesus. It was really a great shame on them. They did not know what they were saying. At times we are tempted to question the Lord especially when problems arise and we run out of steam. We can only say "Yes." We can never ask "Why?" |
