I am amazed at how our parishioners express things in the superlative degree. Referring to just one lady, they would exclaim, "Kagaganda." When food is very salty, they complain saying "Kaaalat." Today's gospel reminds us that we are salt of the earth. We must give flavor. We cannot be tasteless disciples. It's good if we are salty Christians positively influencing and transforming the word. Let's make it superlative. Kaaalat! Kagaganda! |
