On July 13, 1917, Our Lady of Fatima revealed a vision of hell to three shepherd children and gave a warning about a series of devastating events that would be inflicted on the world if people do not repent (including a second world war, the spread of Communism, and persecution of the Church). We are called by today's gospel to be branches remaining in the vine. If we don't "abide" in Jesus, we cannot have an "abode" in heaven. We will be thrown into the fire and will be burned. Our Lady of Fatima, lead us to your Son, Jesus. Amen. |
