Ideally, family members must be on good terms with one another. But in reality, this does not always happen. Division occurs in matters of property inheritance, choice of career, love life and even in the practice of faith. Today's gospel affirms that in saying, One's enemies will be those of his household." Yes, the Lord becomes a point of discord, if not violent opposition. No matter what, we have to make a stand. Are we for or against Him? |
