I have not been to Compostela, Spain but I am aware that there is such a pilgrimage called "El Camino" to honor St. James the Apostle whose remains lie there. I only imagine "The Way" trodden by this great man whose feast day we celebrate today. Together with his brother John, he audaciously expressed the readiness to "drink the chalice" which he really did when he died a martyr's death during the reign of King Herod Agrippa. What he said he did. Worthy of emulation. |
