If we think we suffer a great deal because of this pandemic crisis, let us remember the ignominious death of Jesus. It was, doubtless, unparalleled. True indeed, no slave is greater than his master. Our pain cannot be at par with the sufferings of Jesus. The boredom and sorrow of this lockdown cannot be compared with the horrible death with which the Savior loved us. Compared to his passion, ours is diametrically inferior in essence and in degree. |
