The Church is indefectible. Yes, it cannot be destroyed. Why? It has a strong foundation. It is built on a "Rock" [that is the meaning of the Aramaic "Kepha"]. History bears constant testimony to this fact. There were innumerable attempts to destroy the Church. Such destructive plot still happens in our own time. No one who attempted ever succeeded. How can Jesus forsake the Church he founded? No destruction! There never was. Never will be. |
