Undeniably the Church is not composed of perfect men but of sinners like you and me. This is implied in the opening of today's gospel. Jesus himself said, "If your brother SINS AGAINST you..." What follows next is an exhortation on fraternal correction that is motivated by charity. We should refrain from commenting behind another person's back. We face that erring person with courage and constructive words. That is concern. That is LOVE. |
