What is that thin line dividing the wise and the foolish? Call it foresight. The parable sheds light. The foolish virgins did not foresee the delay of the groom. They did not bring extra oil for their lamps. The wise virgins knew it was coming. They reserved extra oil. Foresight does a lot. It insures the future. It eliminates stress. It brings about peace and tranquility. Whether temporal or eternal, our future is in our hands. If we have enough foresight. It is readily handgrip. |
