It has become a "tradition" in the Philippines that we commence rather early (albeit unofficialy) Christmas Season today. We hope this "tradition" does us good. The opposite is true with the Scribes and Pharisees. Their tradition outlined in today's gospel made them so rigoristic. They cling to their tradition but disobey God's commandment. We, Filipinos have a rich religious tradition. Let's keep it... always to grow and mature in faith. |
