The power of touch! When Pope Francis [reportedly] touched the mute child who consequently began to speak, the mother cried a river. In Panama, the same pope reflected on today's gospel focusing on touch and closeness. Jesus saw the crying widow, drew near and touched the coffin to raise the mother's son to life. Let us make use of the power of touch... to touch not only the body but the very life of another person. |
