Pope Francis loves today's gospel. As a young man, he was captivated by this gospel narrative which prompted him
to take the journey to the priesthood. He would always share about his motto "Miserando atque eligendo," an interplay of mercy and choice. We, too, like St. Matthew and Jorge Bergoglio, have been "mercied" by God in so many ways. Let us make those experiences known to others. |
