Praying in solitude. I love that. I could spend the whole day in communion with God. Jesus did that as narrated In today's gospel. Solitude may mean being alone or at least secluded and away from the public. In fact, Jesus was not really alone but in the presence of his disciples[who were presumably praying, too]. In this noisy world marked by cacophony, one has to make a "retreat" in silence. Be alone. Be with God |
