Known as the "Little Flower," St. Therese of Lisieux had a great love for God and childlike trust in Him. That made her a great saint, Doctor of the Church and patroness of mission. Her "Little Way" of doing small things for the love of God and her sacrifices spelled out in her writing, "The Story of a Soul" testify to her holiness beyond human telling. She lived today's gospel, becoming like a little child trusting in the loving embrace of God. Such profound faith! |
