No name. Yes, the rich young man In today's gospel is not named at all. Why? It is because it could be any person who has that universal question, "What must I do to inherit eternal life?" It could be you or me. Jesus has answered the question but the man could not take it. He had many possessions which he could not let go. How about us? Have we identified that which hinders us from following Jesus? Riches? Power? Lust? |
