Sin against the Holy Spirit. Why can't it be forgiven? Let us first clarify what it really is. Bible scholars say this particular sin is the attribution to the devil what belongs to God and is, therefore, a refusal to recognize the workings of God. [The context is when people said Jesus was expelling demons through the power of Beelzebul]. If we don't recognize the forgiveness coming from God, how can we be forgiven? |
