27 May: What is a blessing in disguise? It is initially unfortunate but beneficial in the end. The departure of Jesus brings sadness but it ushers in the coming of the Holy Spirit. A blessing in disguise. The Lord himself said, "If I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you." Despite the sorrow of separation from Jesus, there is immense joy in the coming of the Spirit of Truth. Our sorrow will turn into joy. Really a blessing in disguise. |
