We are never alone. God is always with us. Jesus himself expressed his conviction that the Father has never deserted him. "I am not alone because the Father is with me." Which gives us enough courage. In moments of grief and despair, we draw strength from such assurance that God accompanies us. He is Emmanuel whose presence we constantly experience. There is no reason to be afraid. God is not simply by our side. He is within us. |
