The point of destination is different from the point of origin. Our direction may be from west to east, north to south or vice versa. In matters of faith, the source is also the goal. In today's gospel, Jesus says, "I am going to the one who sent me." He is from the Father and is returning to the Father. God created us. He has given us freedom to travel through life. Albeit we sometimes go astray, He helps us find the way again. From God we came, to God we shall return. |
