"I have seen the Lord." At first, Mary Magdalene was bluer than blue but when she recognized the Risen Lord, she was on cloud nine. Exceedingly glad, she exclaimed, "I have seen the Lord." Each time we participate in the breaking of the Eucharistic bread, we encounter Jesus. He is appearing to us. Would that we were overjoyed announcing "I have seen my Lord and my God." |
