The capacity to see does not always depend on the person's physical eyes. Ultimately, it is the heart that perceives what the eyes cannot see. Jesus says, "Blessed are your eyes because they see." Earlier, he says, "You shall indeed look but never see." During this inclement weather, when the storm unleashes its fury, only those with caring hearts see the victims. Others simply don't care. They look only with their eyes, not with their hearts. |
