We are over the moon when the tedious search ends with finding. We are pumped like we have no idea. Such was the joy in the imagery of "the buried treasure and the pearl." Both finders rejoiced exultantly. Those parables ultimately point to the joy of possessing the kingdom and finding God. We encounter the Lord in our daily dialogue with him in prayer. We are intimately united with him in the Eucharist. Don't we experience immense joy? |
