Do not stand on the way. This expression tells people not to block the path. This very well applies to the gospel message. Jesus chided the scribes and the Pharisees for not allowing others to enter the Kingdom. There are times when willfully or inadvertently, we block people's communion with the Church community and with God because of our scandalous conduct. Our immoral life discourages others and drives them away from the Church. Truly saddening. |
