It was a moving story narrating a close encounter between Life and death. A dead man was being carried out in procession meeting Jesus alive and walking. In the end, the compassionate Jesus raised the widow's son back to life. It was the triumph of Life over death. The story is consoling. It strengthens us and sustains our hope. The man who once turned water into wine and now transformed death to life can always turn our sorrows into joy. |
