It is ridiculous and foolish to conceal a lamp with a vessel or hide it under the bed. During the time of Jesus, there were no light bulbs. Only lamps brighten those inside the house. Covering the lamps is unthinkable. It is an irony that we jeer that act of foolishness but tolerate the many forms of foolishness in our society. Kudos to those who joined the prayerful march for truth and accountability. To keep silent and undisturbed can be a form of foolishness,too. |
