Does our prayer fall on deaf ears? My answer is No. A friend-bible scholar says, "God's answers to our prayers are not always placed right at our doorsteps because we have to step out of our doors first to see Him in others." Even if Jesus promised, in today's gospel, "whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you," no prayer request shall be granted if we do not remain in him, if we do not love and serve God in our neighbors. |
