The story is told about a magical machine which prints in advance all newspapers. The owner was so excited to know the winning numbers of lotto which could make him rich. He was sure of the number combination he would wager on. But he was taken aback when he read the next day's newspaper. "A billionaire passes away." And it was his name. The folly of wealth! The rich man in today's gospel only wanted "to eat , drink and be merry." No thought of eternal life. So saddening. |
