"There's a place for us..." thus says a song. This harmonizes with the meaning of Jesus' words, "In my Father's house there are many dwelling places" which, according to exegetes, clearly assure us that there is place for everybody. It is very consoling to realize that Jesus has prepared such place for us. Problem is: we have not prepared ourselves to be worthy of such a dwelling. If we do not "abide" in the Lord here on earth, we will lose an "abode" in heaven. |
