Simply unprepared. People during the days of Noah, people during the time of Lot were caught unprepared. This serves as a warning for us to be ready at all times. There is no substitute for a meaningful preparation. A prepared person has a clear direction and a serene disposition. There is no room for anxiety and fear. Aware that the exact coming of the end is not within our grasp, we prepare ourselves so as not to get "surprised." |
