Why deny that there is a resurrection? Belief in resurrection gives us confidence and hope. Perhaps the Sadducees never saw hope because they did not believe that the dead will rise again. We certainly do. We profess that we believe in the "resurrection of the body and life everlasting." Things we enjoy on earth will never last. Wordly happiness is temporary. We desire to go to heaven. There life is eternal. |
