We praise God and say "Blessed be the Lord." In Latin the Canticle of Zechariah is called "Benedictus" because its English version begins with "Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel.... It is not only Zechariah's song but ours, too. Aware of our countless blessings, we can also say that the "dawn from on high breaks upon us and guides our feet into the way of peace."This Season of Christmas, let us praise God and give thanks to Him. |
